 We provide a daily guiding service out of Whitehorse to a number of local lakes
and rivers with boats ranging in size from 14ft to 18ft.
If a do-it-yourself trip is the answer we rent boats, motors and motorized canoes that
can put you into some of the finest backwoods fishing spots around.
Here are some suggested itineraries.
FOX BAY RETREAT
Fox Bay Retreat is located on the west shore of Lake Laberge. Cabins and various watercraft are available for rental. Visit the FOX BAY RETREAT website.
Day trips out of Whitehorse
These trips may be pre-booked in advance or can be booked after your arrival in
Whitehorse. These trips include pickup at your motel/hotel or trailer court, transport to
and from the lake. Early morning departure – return approximately 6:00 PM or whatever
suits your schedule.
Little Atlin Lake –
One day – Guided.
This lake straddle the Yukon-British Columbia border and is a short 1 hour drive out of
Whitehorse. Boat may vary from 14ft to 18ft. depending on availability.
Includes guide and a picnic lunch.
Species: Northern Pike, Lake trout, Whitefish.
Dates: June 1 to September 15.
Cost: $475.00 – 2 persons.
Additional persons $100. per person. (maximum 3 per boat)
Snafu Lake – One day – Guided
A very interesting chain of lakes about 1 hour out of Whitehorse. A smaller boat or
motorized canoe is used. Includes guide and shore lunch.
Species: Lake trout, Northern pike, Arctic Grayling.
Dates: June 1 to September 15.
Cost: $450.00 – 2 persons.
Additional persons $100.00 per person (maximum 4 persons)
Additional persons must be able to operate their own watercraft.
Hidden Lakes – One day – Guided.
A beautiful spot just minutes out of Whitehorse. No motorized watercraft are allowed in
this pristine wilderness setting. You can reserve the entire day or a superb quiet
northern evening.
Species: Rainbow trout
Dates: June 1 to September 15.
Cost: $275.00 – 2 persons per day.
Shorter periods can be arranged. Additional persons must paddle own canoe.
