There is an assortment of guidebooks available. Yukon Pioneer Gus Karpes has published books on the Yukon - Teslin - Big Salmon and Nisutlin Rivers. L. Allgeyer Verlag - Dorfstr. 37 - 23758 Wangels/Dohnsdorf publishes a number of guidebooks in German including those of Gus Karpes above. You can visit their website at www.kanuverlag.de. This site contains ordering information and you can also contact them direct at info@kanuverlag.de if you have any questions on the publications listed.

Kanoe People Ltd also carries a number of guidebooks by M. Rourke. Please contact us for details if you have a specific river in mind.

Booking Our Services

It's easy. Contact us at info@kanoepeople.com and give us the details. We'll do the rest.

Once we confirm a reservation there is a 25% deposit due. For your convenience, we accept both VISA and MASTERCARD.

Guided Trips require full payment 30 days prior to the scheduled departure date. You will also be asked to complete a Wilderness Tour Application Form, which contains a liability waiver and some personal details that make it easier for our guides to prepare for the trip. This must be signed and mailed to us prior to your leaving home.

Do-it-yourself Trips require a 25% deposit once we confirm the dates and equipment. The balance of your account is payable prior to your leaving Whitehorse on your adventure.

Accommodation Hotels - Motels - Whitehorse has a great selection of accommodation to offer you. As part of our services, we can reserve Hotel accommodation for you or you can do so yourself. To avoid disappointment, reservations are recommended well in advance of your arrival. Double hotel accommodation can range from $89. to $139.00 per night.
