Our specialty! We've been doing it since 1974! We can provide just the right canoe or kayak for your trip. We also have a great selection of support equipment available such as dry bags, plastic barrels, cook and camp kits, stoves, bear repellent spray just to name a few of the items that can make a trip just a little more satisfying. For peace of mind we have the optional trip damage waiver, which covers our equipment against loss or damage.

CanoesOur standard rental prices start at $40.00 per day or 3 days at $105.00. Prices vary depending on the length of your rental and the canoe or kayak rented.

Our standard rental canoe is the CLIPPER - 16.8ft Yukon model (5.12m) and the OLD TOWN - 16.9ft Discovery model. (5.15m) Upgrade available to various models of OLD TOWN, CLIPPER (up to 20ft - 6.1m), MAD RIVER and HELLMAN canoes.

Misc Ally folding canoe $45.00 per day - $270 per week. Inflatable Metzler Xr Indio and Trecking $35 per day - $210 per week

Our standard rental Kayak is the NECKY and CURRENT DESIGNS plastic single and double models. Upgrades are available to fiberglass or kevlar single and double models.


Package do-it-yourself trips

There are a number of favorite wilderness water trips for whch we have put together a special package price. The price includes the canoe or kayak, life preservers (PFD'S) paddles, including a spare one.

If you wish to leave the canoe at your destination a drop off charge is charged. This varies by location. The most common are: Dawson City - $75. Carmacks $60.

You are responsible for damage to our rental equipment, however there is a damage waiver available. The standard charge for the waiver is $35.00 per canoe or kayak. This is naturally more with certain of the available upgrades.


Package trips - The Yukon River.
Our most popular route. This consists of 460mi/736k of the YUKON RIVER between Whitehorse and Dawson City. This can be broken up into two major segments as follows:

Package Trips - Teslin River
 

Another favorite. The Teslin River trip starts at Johnson's Crossing, a small Alaska Highway village located about 85mi/136k southeast of Whitehorse. The Teslin River runs almost parallel to the Yukon River for about 115 miles where it joins the Yukon River at the abandoned turn-of-the-century settlement of Hootalinqua. It is a further 110mi/176k by Yukon River to Carmacks. This trip can also be extended to Dawson City. Prices are as follows:

Package trips - Big Salmon River

This great wilderness canoe trip combines 147mi/235km of the livelier Big Salmon River with 75mi/120k of the slower Yukon River to Carmacks. You can also opt to continue a further 260mi/416k to Dawson City. The trip starts at Quiet Lake. Access to the lake is via the Alaska Highway and the South Canol Road.

The Big Salmon River requires canoeing experience. It is a fast and lively river with rapids to grade III depending on the time of the year that you do the trip. The two package prices are as follows:
