These short adventure trips are an extension of those offered on a do-it-yourself basis under the rental information directory.
These trips offer an ideal and safe way to take that daring first launch into the wilderness of the Yukon River. These canoe or kayak trips – your choice – all include a guide or guides depending on the number of participants and a prior reservation is a must. You are expected to ‘paddle your own canoe’ so to speak. A transfer to and from your local hotel can be arranged.
Trip No C1G – A 15mi/24km 3-4 hour trip on the Yukon River from downtown Whitehorse to the river’s confluence with the Takhini River. Bring your own snacks.

Trip No C2G (pending water levels) – A 5mi/8km – 3-4 hour trip on the Yukon River through Miles Canyon and Schwatka Lake just south of the downtown core. The trip includes road transport to the put-in south of Miles Canyon and a pick-up at Schwatka lake. Bring your own snacks.

Trip No C4G (pending water levels) – A full day (5-6 hours) on the Yukon River between its beginning at Marsh Lake through Miles Canyon and into Schwatka lake 30mi/46km downstream. Transportation to Marsh Lake is provided and a pick up at Schwatka Lake at the end of your trip.

Trip No C8G – Yukon River half-day (3-4 hours) Voyageur Canoe – Whitehorse to the Takhini River 15mi/24km daily departures – 6 persons minimum – maximum 10 persons per canoe.

Trip No. C9G – Two days – one night on the Yukon River and Lake Laberge. A wonderful introduction to wilderness camping. We provide canoes or kayaks, a guide/s, 3 campfire meals, snacks, tents and camping equipment for a true Yukon adventure trip down the Yukon River into Lake Laberge. We start in downtown Whitehorse and pull out at Deep Creek about 8mi/13km into the lake. Bring a fishing rod and a camera as there is a good chance of catching an arctic grayling and of seeing some of Yukon’s wildlife during the two days in the wilderness. Reservations are a must.

Note that the trip can terminate earlier in Lake Laberge due to unsafe weather conditions at the sole discretion of the guide/s.
